Colombian Coffee
Crisp & sweet green apple, caramel and milk chocolate
Colombia is known for producing exclusively arabica coffee of the highest quality and is the second largest producer of coffee in the world after Brazil.
Huila region, south of Colombia, has all the attributes required to produce an exceptional crop. Its high-altitude volcanic soils, with plenty of rainfall and wildlife forests providing shade, ensure that the terroir is so distinctive that in 2013, the region received Denomination of Origin (DOC) status – the same status awarded to Champagne, Roquefort cheese, and many other foods and beverages with unique, location-specific characteristics.
Its DOC recognises its delicate profile, bright acidity, medium body, sweet notes & fruity, caramel aroma.
